This week was a very full week, and it feels like a productive one. I don’t take lightly at all the fact that I’m able to continue beavering away on this project, and follow my curiosity to its conclusion on threads of inquiry. I’m incredibly fortunate.

Getting better on time. One day this week lost to illness. COVID-19 intensifies out there, and I’m tremendously grateful for this project that can happily tick along in almost complete isolation. I don’t take that for granted in the least. I spent this week doing a deep dive on Alexa Skill Flow Builder.

Thoughts On Skill Flow Builder
The Skill Flow Builder was introduced by the Alexa team at last year’s Alexa event at the Arcade as a way of creating ‘RPG-lite’ experiences with a little help, compared to standard skill-building tools. Developing in Skill Flow Builder is done by defining scenes, and creating the flow between them. The basic structure of each scene looks like this:

Wrapping Up Week 01: Velocity
So, I could have done without losing two days to operating system grief. Friends don’t let friends update to the latest MacOS version. On the plus side, I now have a shiny new install of Mojave, so there’s that. First of all (and briefly) why invest time in velocity?
